Which Bike Should You Rent in Rishikesh?
Six vehicles, six different answers depending on what you're actually doing. Here's how we'd point you, honestly, before you ask.
If You're Here for a Yoga Course or Staying Put
Honda Activa 125 → — ₹500/day. No gears, nothing to learn, parks anywhere. If your riding is school-to-market-to-ghats and back, an Enfield is money you don't need to spend. This is also the only sensible choice for a monthly rental →, and the default we recommend to riders based in Ram Jhula or Muni Ki Reti → on an ashram course.
If This Is Your First Royal Enfield
Royal Enfield Hunter 350 → — ₹1,200/day. Lightest, lowest Enfield we rent, and quicker steering than the Classic. It's the easiest one to place in Tapovan traffic if you haven't ridden a 350 before — also our default recommendation for foreign visitors → riding an Enfield for the first time.
If You Want the Bike You Pictured
Royal Enfield Classic 350 → — ₹1,300/day. Chrome, the thump, the shape that's been on this road for seventy years. Slightly heavier and slower-steering than the Hunter — fine on the highway, less fun in tight town traffic.
If You're Heading Into the Hills, Kept Simple
Royal Enfield Himalayan 411 → — ₹1,400/day. The proven one. Simpler and lighter than the 450, forgiving when the tarmac stops, and what we hand most first-timers heading for Kedarnath → or Chopta →.
If You Want the Most Fun on Tarmac
Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 → — ₹1,800/day. The Himalayan 450's engine in something lighter and lower. On the road to Devprayag or Kunjapuri, nothing in our yard is quicker or more fun — but it's a road bike, not built for loose surfaces.
If the Road Is Going to Get Bad
Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 → — ₹2,000/day. The most capable machine we own. Chopta, Auli, Badrinath, Spiti →, Ladakh → — this is the one we'd send with you if we didn't know the road ahead.
