The most capable motorcycle we own, and the one to take when the road is going to get bad.
452cc liquid-cooled, forty horsepower, six gears, ride-by-wire, switchable ABS, adjustable seat height and 230 mm of ground clearance sitting on 200 mm of suspension travel at both ends. It has a TFT dash that runs turn-by-turn navigation, which sounds like a gimmick until you're at a three-way fork above Chopta in fading light.
Where the 411 asks you to be patient, the 450 just goes. Loaded, two-up, climbing out of Rudraprayag, it holds 70 km/h without complaint. On the long tedious highway sections between Rishikesh and the interesting parts, that difference adds up to hours.

Who It's For
Take the 450 if:
- You're riding Chopta, Auli, Badrinath, the full Char Dham circuit, Spiti or Ladakh
- You've ridden adventure bikes before and want the real thing
- You're two-up with luggage on a long trip
- You're covering big highway distances to reach the good roads and don't want to spend them at 80 km/h
- You want switchable ABS for gravel and river crossings
Take the 411 instead if:
- It's your first adventure bike
- You're watching the budget — ₹600 a day over ten days is ₹6,000
- You're shorter, or the 825 mm seat concerns you even at its low setting
Staying in Rishikesh, or never ridden a geared motorcycle? This is far too much bike for the Tapovan market run — we won't rent it to a first-time rider, and we'll suggest the Hunter 350 instead.

For Long Trips — Read This
Book early. Between May and June, and again through September and October, the 450s go out for two and three weeks at a time. If your dates are fixed, message us as soon as you have them.
Tell us where you're going. A bike heading to Spiti gets different preparation from one doing a day ride to Devprayag — fresh tyres, a recent service, chain and sprocket checked, luggage mounts fitted.
Leaving Uttarakhand needs notice. Himachal, Ladakh and Nepal are all fine, but we need to arrange the paperwork before you go.
Commercial registration is not optional here. Every bike we rent carries it. The checkposts at Sonprayag and Govindghat check. A privately registered rental will be turned back, and its insurance won't cover you if something happens.
Riding Notes, Honestly
It's tall. Even at the 805 mm setting, with 200 mm of soft travel, it stands up until your weight settles it. Loaded, on a gravel slope, getting a foot down takes deliberate thought. If you're under about 5'8", sit on it in our yard before you commit.
Seventeen litres at ~28 kmpl gives roughly 450 km, which is genuinely useful in Uttarakhand where pumps thin out past Rudraprayag and shut before dark. It's the reason this bike is worth the money on long routes.
The stock seat is firm and the wind protection is average. Both are fine for a week. Neither is why you're renting this bike.

Original two-wheeler driving licence and a government photo ID. From abroad: home licence, International Driving Permit issued before travel, passport. ₹3,000 deposit, refunded in full.
