Rishikesh isn't the Mela site itself — that's expected to be Haridwar, roughly 25 km south, on the standard 12-year cycle — but it fills up around it.

Should You Rent a Bike for Kumbh?

If you're staying in Tapovan and visiting Haridwar for a day or two around it, yes — a bike is faster and more flexible than relying on shared transport, right up until the roads get restricted on the biggest bathing days, when nothing beats walking the last stretch anyway.

If you're planning to be based in Haridwar itself for the Mela, this isn't the right rental for that leg — our shop is Tapovan-based and our delivery radius doesn't reach that far. This is the right call for getting around Rishikesh and Tapovan before or after.

Booking Ahead of the Crowds

Book your bike as early as your travel dates are fixed. Our Himalayans and Classics go first in any high-season window, and Kumbh is the highest.
A scooty is the more practical choice for this specific period — easier to park and thread through crowd-restricted areas than a Royal Enfield.
